How We Help


Volunteers moving a washer for repair.

All services are provided by church volunteers at no cost to the recipient and without discrimination.

Appliance Repair – Local church volunteers repair appliances with client provided parts.

Church Referrals – Love INC staff review client needs with pastors/elders/deacons of churches in client’s neighborhood..

Clothing – Love INC keeps a current record of all area clothing banks and can refer a client where needed.

Financial Assistance – Love INC partners with local churches to provide a varied list of financial services for clients in need i.e., steel toed boots for a new job, re-licensing (such as CNA/LPN) for an existing job, college placement tests, GED tests, replacement ID so clients can apply for other assistance, etc.

Firewood – Love INC and/or church volunteers provide an emergency load of firewood to clients, Delivery or pick-up possible.

Food Banks – Love INC keeps a current record of all Lewis County food banks and can refer a client where needed.

Furniture –Love INC receives donations of gently used furniture and provides same to clients in need. Delivery or pick-up possible.

Handicap Ramps – Church volunteers build ramps for clients in need.

Hot Meals – Love INC keeps current with local churches and agencies on where a client can get a hot meal any day of the week.

Mentors – Church volunteers assist clients in need with on-going mentorship in a variety of ways, i.e., learning to budget, staying clean and sober, etc.

Prayer – Love INC staff and volunteers are available to pray with clients over the phone or in person. Love INC and church volunteers are available o pray for those in need on an ongoing basis.

Rent/Utility Assistance – Love INC provides partial assistance for clients in need through local church benevolence funds. Love INC also gives referrals to other agencies/charities who can partner on larger bills.

Toiletries/Basic Needs – Love INC refers clients to a partner church that distributes these items. Love INC also has information on other agencies that provide these items.

Transportation to Appointments – Love INC staff coordinate with local church partners to find volunteer drivers for clients in need. Love INC also gives referrals to other agencies/charities who can assist.

Tutors – Love INC staff coordinates with volunteers from church partners to assist with reading and math.

Yard Work – Love INC staff coordinates with local church volunteers to assist clients with this need. Love INC also refers clients to other agencies who may be able to assist.
